The municipality is developing a new incubator policy this year. To this end, an evaluation of the existing policy is first carried out. Rob Knijn (maker) interviewed 10 incubators for this purpose. Ria de Waal (incubator broker a.i.) has examined the list of incubators and their physical locations: does the location / initiative still exist and which initiatives have been added?

The evaluation raises many questions. For example, the definition of an incubator is not clear, there is no connection with broader creative makers and the municipality is looking for better embedding of the incubator policy in policy regarding the economy, social tasks and real estate development.
