Maakhaven is a studio complex located at Laakhaven in The Hague. In the early twentieth century, it was the premises of the Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij. Today, it serves as a workspace for creative entrepreneurs, artists, designers, architects, and craftsmen. The wide diversity of creators leads to an extensive network and interesting collaborations.

Maakhaven was founded in 2001, and has since been transformed into a self-managed permanent studio complex. It houses more than 45 workshops and studios and also offers space for temporary projects and events.
