End of the Year Borrel at Quartair

What a great turnout and great atmosphere at this End of Year reception at Quartair! More than 25 initiatives and art & culture organizations from The Hague came together. We talked about 2024 and the planning for the next with more than 40 colleagues.

With thanks to Quartair for their hospitality and especially Ludmila Rodrigues for the slideshow she made from photos sent in from shows, exhibitions and performances in 2024.

In view for 2025

Platform meetings
From January 2025, a monthly Hague incubator platform hosted by one of The Hague’s incubators. Put it in your agenda: Monday 27 January 2025 we will be at Annastate!

Communications
In 2024, the website haagsebroedplaatsen.nl was launched. A website where The Hague incubators can profile themselves and be found by a wider (The Hague) audience. This website is financed by the municipality of The Hague. In 2025, we will expand the site with a private section (login) where the Hague incubators can share knowledge and information about, for example, rental contracts, code of conducts, etc.

For the communication between all the Hague incubators, we will set up a WhatsApp community group. All the Hague incubators are invited to participate in this group to continue to provide each other with current news, activities and mutual calls. Katarina will be in touch with you initiative in case we don’t have your phone number already. If you want to make changes to the contact person for your organization, or add additional people, you can get in touch with her via: katarina@haagsebroedplaatsen.nl.

New Broedplaatsen Policy
In 2025, a new The Hague Broedplaatsen policy will be launched. A group of artists and makers submitted proposals as input for this new policy. We expect it to be published in the first quarter of 2025.
