What a wonderful and enthusiastic turnout again during our platform meeting in Van Gochme. It was great to visit Mourad and Assad’s new community space. We discussed the possibility of forming a representative body for the independent creative sector and that was received with great support.

First of all, a look behind the scenes at Das Leben am Haverkamp with Dewi and Anouk. Then we will continue the conversation with you about achieving a good form of representation / link / face on behalf of the creative cultural sector towards important stakeholders in our city & region. In March we agreed that specific goals for the coming period should first be formulated for this. A working group with Damian, Katarina, Ludmila and Lillian has taken on the task of drafting a proposal for the format for the next steps and discussions, as well as possible internal organizations. They will share their update on April 14th.

This platform meeting is the prelude to a broader and larger meeting where we invite the entire creative cultural sector to join and discuss and agree on the proposal. This broad meeting is scheduled for Monday evening May 19th so mark it in your agenda!
