Our first platform meeting of the year will bring the long-awaited open discussion with Stroom. In June of last year, the platform, led by the Stroom workgroup, sent Stroom an Open letter outlining several questions and concerns from the community regarding Stroom’s positioning in relation to cultural initiatives in The Hague. Stroom responded in July with an invitation for a meeting, and a written reply in December. Their email was read during the last platform meeting in December and we continue the conversation live this coming Monday. 

For the upcoming platform meeting, we will be joined by moderator Nanda Deen, who came recommended by Ria de Waal. As an external moderator, she is there to facilitate the dialogue for both parties.

Agenda: Stroom and Haagse Broedplaatsen Vision. Consultation and discussion based on correspondence. Six topics addressed: studio mediation, advising/guidance, visibility, knowledge sharing, financial support, mediation, and representation.
20:15 Part 2: Looking ahead
Gathering input in smaller discussion groups, asking: What should we collaborate on first (what is the need) and how can we do that (what are the opportunities)?
