On Thursday 13th of November the municipality of The Hague will vote on the new Broedplaatsen policy 2025-2030. See: https://denhaag.raadsinformatie.nl/vergadering/1259930

With its new incubator policy, the Municipality of The Hague aims to address the increasing pressure on affordable workspace for artists and creative entrepreneurs. The memorandum contains a comprehensive vision and concrete measures to strengthen the creative incubator climate, grow the creative sector, and increase the social impact of incubators. It outlines the main policy guidelines, and the individual measures are then developed one by one.

Haagse Broedplaatsen – a collection of art institutes, initiatives and individuals from The Hague – have worked hard to lobby for a seat at the table from Thursday’s vote on. To nudge the deciding committee in the right direction, we need you to show up so we cannot be overlooked. Please invite your colleagues and come 15 minutes early at the Council meeting gathering hall so we have time to meet and greet before the session.
